TrueHeat Underfloor Heating Cables

The TrueHeat (12W/m) Underfloor Heating Cable Kits offer a solution for warm flooring with even heat distribution, suitable for both wooden and concrete floors beneath floor tiles. These kits are versatile, with a wide range of sizes available to suit various heating requirements and floor areas.

To choose the right cable, you should first determine the size of the free floor area you want to heat and decide if it will be your primary or secondary heat source. The cables are designed to cover different square meter ranges, with the capacity ranging from 100w/m² at the minimum to 200w/m² at the maximum. It’s important to refer to the size chart provided in the images section for accurate selection.

A single underfloor heating thermostat can control up to 3600W of TrueHeat heating cables. For larger areas, multiple thermostats or a contactor (a device for switching high current loads on or off) should be used.

For warm floor applications, a thermostat with only a floor sensor is sufficient. For total heating, a thermostat with both air and floor sensors is recommended, except in wet areas like bathrooms, where the thermostat should be outside the wet area, but the floor sensor remains in the wet area floor.

TrueHeat Underfloor Heating Cable is suitable for any room with a wooden or concrete base floor. The only requirement is that the underfloor heating cable must be covered by a flexible tile adhesive and/or self-levelling compound for proper installation and functionality.
